My flower motive crochet bag

This was done over the weekend, made up from 36 flower motives crocheted in an Acrylic yarn called "Cottontut". The flower motives was crocheted using bamboo crochet hook size 8 (Err.... I don't know what is the actual hook size, it written on the hook as 8, so I guess if you used to crochet you will know what size is size 8 hook, am I right?) Then it was crochet to the ratan ring, as you can notice, the yarn that used along the ring is different from the bag. Reason being, I was running out of the actual yarn which was a discounted discontinue yarn that I bought quite some times ago. So I just find some best match subsitute yarn. The yarn crocheted up quite nice and it gave the bag a sturdy look and easy to carry as well.

The bag was lined in dark brown sari fabric. I choose darker colour cause that will give more effect to the flower motives of the bag, and it will be more visuable with darker back ground too.

This is my first crochet bag without any instruction to follow, kind of proud of that. ;) and very satisfy with the outcome.

Recycled Jewelleries

These made from a pair of old earings + some gem stone + some metal beads. Nothing fancy, just some simple modification to add in those additional accessories to make it to two items that look more fresher to wear.
