New fabric that I just got from Ikea. I like the hippo print on the cotton, suit for children project. It came in 3 colour shade : blue, green and red but only this red colour remain on stock and it only left 2 rolls. So, here I got a roll of white hippon print on red cotton that added to my fabric stash cause I don't have any project in mind for it yet.

Green
A new earring that I had just made. A very simple earring that just made from few green shade Jasper and white quartz, join together with a headpin and then connect to the earring hook with a o-ring. Look simple and nice for any occasion.
And a new project that I have just started after Tia. A sleeveless top, free pattern from Knitty called "Emerald Seas"using the recycled left over yarn from previous project of "Spring Fling". The project just started recently and it just about 2" from the bottom.

Tia - A finished variegated vest
My first knit using variegated yarn. Everytime when I knit this vest, I feel very excited when I see how the colours make up the texture on the knit and it make such a simple vest much more exciting with colours. This is a simple vest and it could be match with any tops, guess I'll wear it with plain white t-shirt to work mostly. The yarns (Elann.com Sonata) knit up very nicely, and it feel quite soft to wear too. Eventhough the yarn gives me a very rough feeling on the first feel before knitting, but it feel softer after washing on the FO. It's really a cheap DK weight cotton yarns for knitters to consider.
Pattern : Tia - free online pattern from Berroco
Yarn : Elann.com Sonata in the shade of Wine for ribbing and border, Rio for the body.

Someone wants to throw all these away
No kidding, really, someone wants to throw all these fabrics away. They were once belong to hubby's Aunt. She passed away few weeks ago and she stayed with hubby's eldest brother and sis in law all the while before that. They don't like her much and after she had passed away, they decided to throw all her belongings. I was so happen to be there while they cleaned up her room and managed to save up all these vintage fabrics. Not just fabrics though, I even saved up her China, plates and cups. Just don't understand why they wanted to throw all these nice things away, don't they know how to treasure little things and vintages like these?
Anyway, the first picture is the square of fabrics that Aunt already sewn up to long stripes, I guess she wanted to do a quilt but she just manged to do it half way, unfinished. I think I might finish it up for her and just frame it up for the view of those vintage fabrics. The second picture is the new or scrap fabrics. Some of them have really nice prints, I'll waste it and just keep them for the time being. Will figure out what project for them later on.
Nothing much on my knitting, I'm almost finish with Tia , the variegated vest. In the midst of weaving in all the ends and buttons. Soon I'll show the FO. No new knitting project in mind yet, still searching for nice project and still tide down with baby quilt projects.
