I frog V-neck diamond raglan for new project

Yes, V-neck diamond raglan top had been unravel. It was too tide and short for me, I can't fit into it at all. Such a waste if I just keep and not wearing it. So, I decided to frog it for this new project. It is a 3/4 sleeve lace pullover with few tier of different lace patterns, pattern from one of the Chinese pattern book I bought. Just started it 2 days ago and it's about 4" from the bottom. Hopefully this project come out more comfortable to wear compare to V-neck diamond raglan top. ~ cross my finger ~

Spring Fling done

At Last Spring Fling is off from the needle, I done it last night after 2 hours of grafting and seaming. Actually it was a very easy and relax knit, I should have finished it earlier. However, I have been quite laid back lately on crafty activities. That's why it took me so long just to finish one project.

I used recycled yarns for Spring Fling, the gauge is much more smaller than stated in the instruction call for. To compensate the differences in tension, I did it in size L and it came out just nice to fit me and I am satisfy with the outcome.

Sewing magazine

Just bought this Japanese sewing magazine, it's called "Sytle Book" Summer issue. Lots of pretty tops and dresses to make inside, and here are some of them that catches my eyes and wish to make.

Crocheted doily poster

It was done few days ago but I just have time to take picture this morning. Has been busy at works lately and I don't really have times for blogging during office hours, therefore I have to blog it during weekend.

They were done mainly from recycle items : leftover yarn, leftover fabric and some soft board that I got from packaging. Pattern from a crochet pattern book that I borrowed from library some times ago. Forgot to list down the title, I just made some copies of interesting patterns out of it. Kind of an old book, even some of the pages has been torn off. Anyway, it was a very simple and yet interesting project to do. Could be used for display on the shelve of the living room to add some interesting view for the room.

New year trip

During the long new year break, I've been to Damai Laut and Pangkor Island with my family members for a short 3 days 2 nights trip. It's such a long times all of us in the family didn't gather together for traveling and we have spend such a great time together on this trip. And I hope we could do this again sometimes.
